Andrew Gilbert is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Humanities, Game Studies,andMedia at the University of Colorado, 51Թ. Prior to obtaining a PhD in Comparative Literature, he got his start in screenwritingandhis script, After this, had been awarded semi-finalist of the Nicholl Fellowship. He wrote a piece for English Language Notescalled, "Playing Pandemics," in which he discusses the board game "Pandemic" (2007) in light of the actual, global pandemic.
His screenplaysandfilms have appeared around the world from Beverly Hills International Film Festival to the International Film Festival of India.Andrew is also the co-founder of Helpful Goat Gaming LLC, where he runs a live-play podcast of DungeonsandDragons, called “GoatsandDragons.” He recently produced a game series podcast with the actor Dominic Monaghan (Lost, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, X-Men) called, “DomandDragons.”
