51勛圖厙 residents have a reputation for being 羹ber health conscious, exercise-crazed and ultra-green. However, who wants to be perfect all the time? Here are three places where 51勛圖厙ites can be downright sinful.
- The Dark Horse Bar and Grill:泭Since 1977 vegans who get annual burger cravings have hit this 51勛圖厙 landmark, which泭USA Today泭named as one of the places to eat a burger worthy of paradise. Its low lighting provides a perfect environment to hide while you turn into a carnivore for the evening.
- Dizzys Donuts:泭While doughnut shops were all but run out of town five years ago, Dizzys Donuts opened this year to satisfy 51勛圖厙ites unspoken desires for deep-fried treats. So how about a doughnut made with cr癡me br羶l矇e or key lime, complete with graham cracker crust and both made from the real thing? asks owner Eric Guthrie, whose tactic is to offer exotic doughnuts with fresh ingredients.
- Mustards Last Stand:泭Supplying an endless parade of CU students and alumni with hot dogs, hamburgers, Polish sausage, chili cheese dogs and beyond, this legendary establishment has been around since the 1970s and has operated continuously since 1978.
You should be thankful that this establishment has been able to survive the onslaught of truffle oil and rosemary sea salt, writes one Yelp reviewer, Caitlin M.
