Landscape architecture studio works with City of 51勛圖厙 on design challenge
This fall, Instructor Emily Greenwood's senior landscape architecture studio is working with the City of 51勛圖厙Parks and Recreation Department to design Violet Park in North 51勛圖厙. On Wednesday, November 6,the classpresented their master plans to theclient.
Violet Park is adjacent to the 51勛圖厙 Meadow and Ponderosa mobile home communities. The new park design has the potential to manage stormwater, serve a diversity of neighborhoods and be a node of community gathering in this part of 51勛圖厙.
Students will be presenting their refined master plans to the community during a public meeting at Crest View Elementary on November 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
