Time and Labor Project Updates and Resources: Change Champion Network

Dear 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Campus Change Champions,Ìý
We are pleased to share that CU is transitioning our time and leave tracking (My Leave) to a unified Time and Labor (T&L) system. The goal of this initiative is to streamline processes for employees, supervisors, and HR professionals across the university.Ìý
You are receiving this email because you have been identified as a member of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø campus Change Champions Network (CNN) for the Time and Labor Project. As a member of the Change Champion Network, you are a vital partner in guiding your departments and supporting supervisors through change. Your partnership will be crucial in ensuring clear communication and a smooth adoption process across campus and will be central to the success of this initiative.Ìý
Time and Labor—ÌýWhat’s Changing for Supervisors, HR Support, and Employees?Ìý
CU is moving from MyLeave and other third-party tools to a single, university-wide platform built on Oracle PeopleSoft Time and Labor.
- This transition will change how time and leave are tracked, reviewed, and approved. Supervisors and HR support staff will have new responsibilities in monitoring and approving time, while employees will enter and manage their time and leave within the new system.
- Change Champion Network members and HR liaisons will play a key role in sharing information, coordinating activities, and supporting this transition within their departments.Ìý
Key Benefits for Supervisors, HR Support and EmployeesÌý
- Supervisors: A single platform to review and approve time and leave, with clear visibility into team schedules and leave requests.
- HR Support: Centralized processes that reduce duplicate entry, provide real-time data for compliance and workforce planning, and clarify approval workflows.
- Employees: Fewer systems and less manual data entry, leading to consistency and reducing confusion about where to track hours or request leave.ÌýÌý
