The CU Cultural Events Board has chosen a speaker who will help educate the student body on the various sides of the American political divide, said Anuja Gore, speakers coordinator of Cultural Events Board.
CEB is continuously in pursuit of enriching the student experience at CU through supporting the voices of underrepresented and misrepresented groups on campus to promote awareness and conscientiousness. We believe our speaker choice for the fall 2019 semester reflects this mission.
Kasich is currently a CNN senior political contributor, has worked as a host for Fox News, served on the corporate boards of several corporations and worked with Lehman Brothers. He also has a new book, Its Up to Us: Ten Little Ways We Can Bring About Big Change,泭coming out Oct. 15.
