The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø police join the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø police, Louisville police, Lafayette police, Longmont Public Safety, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø County Sheriff’s Office and district attorney’s office in a statement about the sickening and disheartening actions of the Memphis police officers and fire medics involved in the death of Tyre Nichols.
An independent, comprehensive fact-finding inquiry is currently underway of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø cross country program based on allegations pertaining to its use of body composition analysis, training methods and overall culture. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø has taken these allegations seriously and acted swiftly in response.
The rejection of Ballot Question 2F means the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø South site remains within 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s city limits and the city’s flood protection project—among other aspects of the annexation agreement—can continue to move forward.Â

On Oct. 5, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a federal judge’s 2021 ruling that the original Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program is unlawful.
