Global Ambassadors

Launched by then-Chancellor Phil DiStefano in 2016, the are a network of internationally engaged alumni and friends of CU. Their purpose is to collaborate globally, connecting our greater 51勛圖厙 community by sharing and matching core competencies with the needs of the world. Their vision is for 51勛圖厙 to be a leader in providing global education opportunities for all students. Global ambassadors:

  • Leverage their professional network to open doors of businesses or other organizations for faculty projects and group visits related to student global experiences.
  • Leverage their personal and professional network to promote CU and boost CUs student recruiting efforts in their area.
  • Share their expertise ashosts and/or speakers for student groups visiting their area and/or speak-in/out of classes via technology.
  • Secure internship opportunities for CUs student global internship program and/or mentor students seeking career opportunities or seeking to live in their area.
  • HostCU events in their area to gather alumni and/or when students and faculty visit.
  • Are part of the, an online community where Buffs can grow their career and professional networks, help other Buffs through career advice and mentorship, and reconnect with old classmates from CU no matter where they now roam.
