PhD student in Clinical Psychology & Neuroscience, Amelia Moser and Clinical Psychologist and Neuroscientist, Dr. Roselinde Kaiser write an opinion piece published in Neuropsychopharmacology titled .

The field of neuropsychopharmacology is increasingly integrating data science to enable personalized psychiatric treatments, but the complexity of these methods can hinder their clinical translation. For models to be impactful, they must be accurate (valid, reliable, and replicable), better than existing approaches, and outcomes must be usable in real-world settings.

Current lab members, Dr. Ambra Coccaro, Dr. Roselinde Kaiser, Amelia Moser, and Elisa Stern published a new study in the Biological Psychiatry Global Open Science titled: Neurocognitive Biotypes of Risk and Resilience for Mood Disorders in Adolescents: Insights From Behavioral and Graph-Theoretic Network Markers.

The study helps us better understand brain patterns to predict which teens will thrive under stress—and which might struggle with mood disorders. Check it out:

Dr. Roselinde Kaiser wins prestigious Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists

Dr. RoselindeKaiser wins prestigious Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. government on outstanding scientists and engineers early in their independent careers.

Kaiser says, "Youth depression is an urgent public health priority; in our research, we are advancing new paths to promote healthy mood through interdisciplinary discovery achieved with and for young people. The PECASE recognizes the promise and innovation of this work and is a launchpad for research that will develop and scale programs for personalized health insight and wellness promotion. We are enthusiastic to begin the next chapter in research discovery and real-world impact.”
