Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS)

Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) offers confidential, on-campus mental health and psychiatric services for a variety of concerns such as academics, anxiety, body image, depression, relationships, substance use and more. To get connected to CAPS for more ongoing support schedule a screening appointment.Ìý

Alternatively, you can come to CAPS for a same day, in-person screening appointment on a first come, first served basis between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

  • Let’s Talk is a free service where 51³Ô¹ÏÍø students can check in for an informal, brief and confidential consultation with a counselor or psychiatrist. CAPS is offering Let’s Talk in person and virtually.
  • CAPS also provides virtual workshops to help students learn how to manage stress, combat anxiety, practice healthy habits and learn valuable life skills.
  • Process therapy groups allow CU students to explore a variety of topics, speak on their personal experiences and receive group support.

WellTrack is a free app that is available to all 51³Ô¹ÏÍø students. It is designed to help you understand your mental health and to provide you with the help that you need right now.Ìý

Office of Victim Assistance (OVA)

OVA provides free and confidential* information, consultation, support, advocacy and short term counseling services to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø students, graduate students, faculty and staff who have experienced a traumatic, disturbing or life disruptive event. OVA is not the office that investigates or adjudicates cases.Ìý
